Semios is the workspace of Gustaf Öqvist Seimyr, researcher at the Bernadotte laboratories , Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. My research is focused on  eye tracking and analysis of reading and other perceptional stimuli. I have a strong interest in novel concepts and services for information access with focus on language, usability, and mobility.

Semios is derived from semiosis, the process whereby abstract signs become information that makes sense. Similiarly, I strive to create solutions where information becomes more accessible and less complicated by unifying language technology with interaction design.
