Semios is the personal workspace of Gustaf Öqvist Seimyr, researcher at the Bernadotte laboratory, S:t Erik Eye Hospital, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. I work with novel concepts and services for information access with focus on language, usability, and mobility.
Semios is derived from semiosis, the process whereby abstract signs become information that makes sense. Similiarly, I strive to create solutions where information becomes more accessible and less complicated by unifying language technology with interaction design.
